Private Events at Meadow Brook Golf Club

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, retirement, anniversary or other special occasion, the staff at Meadow Brook will be sure to make your event a worry-free occasion.

Thank you for your interest in the function facility at Meadow Brook Golf Club. We pride ourselves on presenting events that are memorable occasions for the host and their guests. We can accommodate parties of up to 150 guests and have an expert culinary and wait staff to attend to your every need. Forty is the minimum number of guests required to book the facility.

  • General Rules & Information
    • Availability

      Functions are not able to be booked on any Tuesday from mid-April to mid-September or on any Wednesday or Friday evening. We can schedule Brunches on most Sundays in the spring and fall. We cannot schedule a Brunch during the months of June, July and August and a few other select weekends.

      Food & Beverages

      All food and beverage must be provided by Meadow Brook Golf Club. The only exception to this rule is a special occasion cake. Please advise your guests that Meadowbrook does not accept credit cards for beverage purchases. Beverage service is cash only.

      Decorations & Centerpieces

      All displays and decorations shall be subject to approval by the Club Manager. The club will not allow the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, light fixtures or ceiling of any room in the Clubhouse. There will be no confetti or rice allowed in the Clubhouse.

      Smoking Policy

      Meadow Brook Golf Club is a non-smoking facility.

  • Rental Fees & Payment
    • Rental Fee

      The rental fee for the function room ranges from $450.00 to $1,000.00 and is not included in the menu price. This rental fee is dictated by the club and is non-negotiable. The rental fee is for a five-hour period. Non-members wishing to use the facility must have a member sponsor them.

      Deposit

      A deposit of $500.00 is due at the time of the booking. In the event of a cancellation, a refund will be given only if the cancellation is made 60 days prior to the function.

      Payment

      A payment plan is set up at booking. Check or cash only are accepted. We do not process credit cards of any type. Please advise your guests that beverage purchases are cash only.

      Prices

      All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices may be confirmed and locked in 6 weeks prior to the function date.

      Minimum Guarantee

      A guarantee of the number of people attending the function is required five business days before the function date. Otherwise the higher estimated number of people will apply to billing. We will accept additional guests up to 48 hours before the function.

  • Menus & Beverages
    • Menu Selection

      You must submit your final menu selection(s) three weeks before the function date. All food items must be supplied and prepared by Meadow Brook Golf Club. No food is allowed to leave the club premises at any time.

      Beverages

      The Massachusetts Alcohol Beverage Commission strictly regulates the sale and service of all alcohol. All alcoholic beverages must be supplied and served by Meadow Brook. Meadow Brook reserves the right to control the amount of alcohol being consumed on the premises. No alcoholic beverages can leave the Clubhouse. Any person under 21 years of age will not be served alcohol. Please note that alcoholic beverages will not be served after 11:30 PM at any function. Please note that beverage purchases are by cash only. We do not accept any credit cards. Please advise your guests.

      Taxes & Service Charge

      A 7% Meals tax will be added onto all food and beverage purchased at Meadow Brook. A service charge of 20% will also be added to all food and beverage items.

  • On-Site Security

    • You must have a police detail present for a function over 150 people. Your charge will be the current rate as dictated by the Reading Police Department. Meadow Brook Golf Club is not responsible for the damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left behind following any function.
