Lifestyle Amenities at Meadow Brook

Our Swim and Tennis memberships offer family-oriented and child-friendly summer activities for everyone.

The pool offers recreational swimming, swim lessons and a competitive swim team for children ages 6-16. Our Red Cross Certified teaching staff provides excellent instruction for all levels, from complete beginners to competitive swim team members. Meadow Brook is a founding member of the North Shore Swim League, which was founded in 1963 and consists of five Clubs. It is a highly competitive League, and the Meadow Brook Marlins have won the annual "Big Meet" five of the past six years. Swim team activities include daily practice, weekly meets, weekly team breakfast, movie nights, a relay carnival, pasta party and post Big Meet pizza pool party. We conclude the season with the annual Swim Team Banquet in the clubhouse. Pool amenities include a wading pool for children 5 and under, a 25-yard in-ground pool with a diving board, a new pool house with showers, an open deck area with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas, picnic tables, grills and open grassy areas for recreation.

Tennis is in Meadow Brook's DNA

In 1905, the members decided that tennis would be an asset to their newly formed club. Since then, the tennis program has remained an integral part of the Meadow Brook suite of activities and currently has two clay and two hard courts along with a covered, shaded picnic area. Under the direction of tennis Professional Matt Tiberii, we offer both adult and child clinics and tournaments, a round-robin (for the very young hitters), private and semi-private lessons. Due to overwhelming demand, pickleball has been added along with weekly lessons and clinics as the sport grows. Highlights of the summer include: a Wimbledon Whites tournament, adult and child member-member tournaments, adult clinics in the evening, women’s clinics in the morning, pickleball play in the evening and the annual tennis banquet to wrap-up the season.
