All of us at Meadow Brook thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our community.
We feel we have a lot to offer in the way of a family friendly recreational facility.
Following is a brief description of the necessary steps in the application process.
Becoming a member of Meadow Brook requires that you complete an application form, which, along with an informational packet, can be obtained by requesting one by email or calling us. Simply click on the "Contact us" tab to do so.
Please review the information carefully and be aware that the submitted application must include written recommendations from two present members of Meadow Brook (not of the same family) and a check for the appropriate initiation fee(s).
Upon receipt, your application will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and you will be contacted by Eric Boemer, Membership Chairperson, regarding the application process and to answer any further questions you may have.
All applications are then reviewed by the Board of Governors for approval. Generally the process takes about two months from receipt of the application.
Following are a few FAQs that may answer a few preliminary questions you may have about the membership application process.
- How do I get an Application Form?

- Do I need references?
Two references from current Meadow Brook members are required.
- Is there an initiation fee?
Yes, all members are required to pay a Club social member initiation fee, which is non- refundable. That initiation fee is the only one you pay if you choose either or both Swim or Tennis as your activity. If you choose Golf as your activity, there is an additional fee depending on which type of Golf membership you choose.
- Are these initiation fees a bond?
No, they are non-refundable fees.
- Is there a payment plan?
Yes, Denise, our Office Manager, will be happy to explain the different payment options available.
- Are the dues included in the initiation fee(s)?
No, Dues for each activity will be billed separately upon acceptance. There is also an installment plan option for dues. The Meadow Brook year for which dues are billed is January 1st to December 31st.
- So I’ve filled out my application and have my check ready, what’s next?
Send the completed Application Form along with a check for your initiation fees to the Club and it will be presented to the Board at their next meeting. (generally the Board meets the third Thursday of each month). The application is presented to the Board at the first meeting after it is received and voted on at the following meeting.
- Does that mean I have to wait 60 days if I apply in June? The summer would be over by the time I get accepted.
The Board grants conditional memberships in that situation so you can enjoy the Club immediately upon the Board’s receipt of your application and appropriate fees.
- What if I decide to join mid-season?
Anyone applying for membership after August 1st will pay half the annual dues.
